It’s only a dollar. But that dollar can add up if you fly American Airlines a little or a lot. How do I do it? What’s my secret? It’s simple.

Mr. Rebates

Back when I first started my blog, I wrote a post about shopping portals. I love them. I’ve been using them for years. In my interview with Million Miles Secrets, I pointed out that using online shopping portals is one thing you can do to earn more miles while doing things you’re going to do anyway.

I fly American Airlines a lot. A lot. So I love the fact that I can earn $1.00 from Mr.Rebates.com every time I buy an airline ticket. What’s the catch? None. You just have to click to American Airlines from MrRebates.com each time before you buy a ticket. This even works if you place your ticket on hold (for free) for up to 24 hours (and sometimes longer) on AA.com as well!

What are some other ways I earn easy cashback when shopping online?

  • I earn 7% off my iTunes purchases by first visiting ebates.com.
  • I usually earn between 4.5% and 9% back when booking reservations at IHG Brand hotels (Holiday Inn, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, etc.) by first visiting ebates.com or MrRebates.com.
  • I earn 2.5% back from all my car rentals from National Car Rental by first visiting ebates.com.

Do you have any quick and easy cashback secrets when shopping online?
