One of My Travel Goals for 2015

I’ve been fortunate to see most of the United States of America. Some of my favorite places include Seattle, New York City, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Austin, Minneapolis, Chicago, and Vail.

In my short 33 years, I’ve been able to visit 96% of the United States.  About two years ago, I visited my 48th state: West Virginia. Since then, however, I’ve been just two states shy of visiting all 50. My two remaining states are Alabama and Tennessee.

So, I’m putting this out there:

2015 is going to be THE year that I reach state #50

Which state will be the last? I’m not sure yet. Will it be Alabama? Or will it be Tennessee? Will it be early in 2015? Or will I have to do a last minute trip in December? Either way, by the end of 2015, I’ll be able to say I’ve been to each and every state in the United States.

What are your thoughts? Should Alabama or Tennessee be my 50th state? Have you been to either? Where should I visit?
