Justin Does…Is Back!

You may have noticed that I haven’t blogged in quite awhile. In fact, my last post was August 14, 2013. Yikes! Sorry folks!

As you can see, Justin Does… has a new look. My site was being redesigned and I didn’t post during the transition. Also, and this might be oversharing, I moved the underlying blog platform from software called blogger to something called WordPress. Thanks for sticking around and I hope you like the new look!

Me and my girl, Casey, on a hike this summer in Vail, Colorado.

So, what’s new?

  • New web address! Did you notice I changed web addresses? Please be sure to bookmark http://www.JustinDoesBlog.com. All of my old posts should automatically redirect. If not, please let me know!
  • New layout! Hopefully you’ve noticed. I went from a greyscale background, to a simple black text on white.

What to expect in the near future?

  • Mailing list. On the right-hand side of the page is a spot for you to sign up for my email list. Don’t worry, I’m not going to spam you. If you aren’t on Facebook or Twitter, you will be able to receive email notices of new posts.
  • Ads. In an effort to offset some of the costs of running a blog, you may see some ads popup on the site.
  • Tweaks to the site. As I become more familiar with WordPress, I will be making minor adjustments to the site. I anticipate these to be minor changes, like font, text size, layout, etc.

Thanks for reading. I hope you continue to enjoy reading my perspective on the world!

What a great experience: Vail with a wonderful friend, she looks like a great dog; and beautiful weather!

Lucky Casey “summered” in Colorado with her sister Cayman. Can’t wait to get them back up to Colorado!

  • Looks good, How difficult was the migration? I’ve heard stories blogger—>Wordpress can be tough.

    • Migration was the easy part…it was updating links and moving content from blogger to WP that took time!
