I was born and raised in Seattle and moved to Austin, Texas shortly after graduating from college. I love Seattle. Even the rain. I try to visit a couple times a year to see family and friends. But it is also an opportunity to be a tourist in the city I grew up in.
I was recently in Seattle for the First2Board.com Sessions, a two day boutique travel-focused event that allows a small group of people to gather, share, learn, eat, and have fun in a new city every year. (For a great summary of the event, check out Oz’s review of The Seattle Sessions over at TheValueTraveler.com) While at the Sessions, I won a Seattle CityPASS, which I’d like to pass on to a reader (details below on how to enter!)
If you’re not familiar with CityPASS, it is a bundled booklet of admission tickets to a city’s top attractions. Buying a CityPASS can save you a bunch of money because the cost of the CityPASS is usually around 50% cheaper than if you were to buy the admission tickets individually. Booklets are good for nine days from the day you first use the booklet. And because you already have your admission ticket, you can skip lines to buy tickets to venues.
The CityPASS program can be a great way to save money when you are checking out a new city (or even a city that you grew up in!) You can save even more money by buying your CityPASS online through a shopping portal (ebates is currently offering 3% cash back for CityPASS purchases).
Would you like to win a Seattle CityPASS? Here’s how to enter:
Please leave ONE comment telling me about which Seattle attraction you are most interested in visiting.
I’ll pick one commenter who will win an Adult Seattle CityPass Booklet (worth $64!) after the drawing closes at 9:00 pm Central Time on Friday, September 5, 2014.
